1st Workshop on Gender issues and development

The inaugural edition of the workshop on gender issues and development was hosted by Paris Nanterre University and EconomiX in December 2023. The workshop featured keynote lectures by Lucia Corno (Cattolica University), Helmut Rainer (University of Munich), and Almudena Sevilla (London School of Economics).
Institutions and Norms in Economic Development: a focus on India.

This workshop hosted by the Universtiy of Reading on 22nd May 2024 served as a platform for speakers and attendees to discuss the intricate relationship between institutions, norms, and the economic development of one of the world’s most dynamic and diverse economies, India. The workshop drew upon both historical and contemporary contexts to provide an understanding of the pivotal role institutions play in shaping economic development.
2nd Workshop on Gender issues and development

Paris Nanterre University and EconomiX hosted the second edition of the workshop Gender Issues and Development on October 8 and 9, 2024. The workshop featured keynote lectures by Ralph De Haas (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development), Selim Gulesci (Trinity College Dublin), and Annika Lindskog (University of Gothenburg).empirical research connecting these areas.
3rd Workshop on Gender issues and development (forthcoming)

The Department of Economics at the University of Reading is hosting the Workshop on Gender Issues and Development on November 3-4, 2025. This workshop will feature contributions in the fields of family economics, gender economics, and development economics. It aims to create a forum to discuss ongoing, cutting-edge theoretical and
